The museum's galleries display an eclectic mix of Māori artefacts, Antarctic exploration history, and natural history exhibits. Art lovers are in for a treat with the dynamic art scene. The art galleries in Christchurch present a mix of traditional and contemporary pieces, reflecting the creative pulse of the South Island.
